Milwaukee, WI November 9th 2017 – Tom Burden, is this years SEMA Launch Pad winner and this latest news can only add to his momentum of growing his start-up company Grypmat. It was announced that Tom Burden will be featured on “Shark Tank” November 12th 9pm-10pm ET/PT on ABC. This news is just after Tom captured this years SEMA Launch Pad competition on Oct 30th. After being selected as one of the ten finalists Tom won overall winner of this year’s contest. The winner will receive a $10,000 award to be used for business promotion and a free booth at the 2018 SEMA show. Grypmat also took home a Global Media Award selected by international judges for showcasing one of the best products at this year’s SEMA show.

“It’s hard to describe the excitement the we have right now, said Grypmat Inventor and president Tom Burden. There have been a lot sleepless nights getting Grypmat off the ground and so much of the credit goes to my family and friends that supported me in the hard times. Our team is ready for the challenges ahead and I want to thank everyone that supported my dream to bring the Grypmat to market”.

The Grypmat is a flexible non-slip tool tray that gives mechanics a safe, close location to set their tools without worry of losing them or scratching their delicate work surface. Brightly colored orange, and resistant to heat, makes it nearly impossible to lose even the smallest fastener under the hood of a car. The patent-pending material has no magnets and can be easily cleaned after each use. Grypmat will release for the first time to the automotive aftermarket the Grypmat Trio. These three new designs were created after research done in the field. With a small, medium and large the Grypmat is ready to tackle any job.
